Sincronia negre

13,50 IVA inc.

The lighthouse shows us the way. This is our youngest wine, because to know where we’re going we have to know where we’ve come from. A coupage of autochthonous and foreign varieties that is fresh and easy to drink.

Synchrony is the magic of life. What we sometimes experience as negative event can become an opportunity, something that occurs at the same time as something else. The young wines of Mesquida Mora are born in synchrony with their siblings ACROLLAM, TRISPOL and SÒTIL.

Label

The labels of SINCRONIA wines are composed of small fragments of coloured paper, like life itself, representing the vines where they were born and composing a picture that evokes the Mediterranean essence of our island, Mallorca. Retalls que representen les vinyes on neixen. Ordenats configuren una imatge que ens recorda l’essència mediterrània de la nostra illa, Mallorca.
Sincronia Negre is illustrated with a lighthouse, to remember always the port of exit and, perhaps, the port of return.

Vinification

The different varieties that make up the wine are fermented separately according to their point of ripening and are blended at the end of malolactic fermentation in a stainless steel tank and are then transferred to casks.

Tasting note

Forest fruits and red plums with a spicy touch. In the mouth it is light, fresh and persistent. En boca és lleuger, fresc i persistent.

Climatology

1 will always remember this 2022. lt may have been the hottest year since I began winemaking in 2004. lf late 2027 saw a wet November, the early months of 2022 had very I ittle rain. This tendency lasted throughout the year in Porreres and was interrupted by an episode of heavy rainfall in Felanitx just after the harvest.

The spring and summer were torrid, with little day-night thermal difference. August was more like a second spring and the beginning of a very mild winter with short intervals of minimal rain. Harvesting was hard work due to the high temperatures, but very healthy thanks to the absence of fungi and diseases. This harvest posed a true challenge that I am very happy with and that signifies a point of reflection concerning the years to come.
